Features & Benefits

When it comes to buying a quality electric guitar, amplifier (and possibly a speaker cabinet), stompbox effects pedals or a multi-effects processor, plus cables etc., the total costs can be quite high. The Fusion challenges the expense of a traditional setup by providing all the features of a traditional electric guitar setup at a significantly reduced cost.

Plus you have unparalleled convenience, it only takes a minute to get rocking, and you can play the Fusion anywhere, you're not tied to a power outlet.

The Fusion sounds incredible when used with apps like JamUp Pro, Bias FX, Amplitube and GarageBand. We built this guitar because the latest iOS apps have hyper-realistic amp and effects emulations which sound amazing. In a blind test even veteran musicians often can’t tell the difference between an actual tube amp and the amp-matched emulations. Positive Grid who make JamUp Pro and Bias FX are world leaders in this technology, which accurately emulates classic amps and effects. Their software is now used by many professional musicians.

Almost all currently available iOS music apps will work with the Fusion Guitar and the Fusion's built-in studio-quality digital interface will give a latency free connection with ultra- low noise. We recommend these apps:

Guitar multi-effects processors apps; JamUp Pro, Bias FX, Tonebridge, Amplitube, Ampkit & ToneStack.

Looping apps: Looperverse & Loopy HD.

Tuition apps: Ultimate Guitar Pro, Yousician, Guitar Master Class & GuitarToolkit.

Recording and song creation: GarageBand (a free app from Apple) & StudioMini.

The Fusion’s internal amp and speakers are surprisingly loud; 95 dB at 1 meter, much louder than an acoustic guitar which is 80 - 85 dB.  It can provide enough volume for a cafe or small bar gig, or for street busking on a quieter street.

If you need more volume for a bigger gig or band practice, simply plug the Fusion into a regular guitar amp or PA using a standard guitar cable.

Absolutely!  The Fusion is amazingly versatile and has 3 output jacks:

¼” standard guitar output (like a normal electric guitar), with no iPhone effects processing, which can be connected to a traditional guitar amp.

¼” line out with the iPhone processed amp tones and effects, which can be used to connect to a PA, powered speakers or a standard guitar amp using a standard guitar cable. This is great for bigger gigs, you only have to take along your Fusion and a guitar cable and plug straight into the venue PA. This Line-out can also go straight into a studio desk for direct recording.

3.5mm stereo output for connection to headphones (for silent playing) or an external audio system.

Connecting to any of the 3 outputs will switch off the Fusion’s internal amp and speakers.

The Canadian maple wood of the Fusion neck extends through the body all the way to the bridge. This patented construction augments the natural resonance of the timber giving greater sustain and a warm tone.

With versatility in mind, the Fusion has two types of high-quality humbuckers; a 14K Ohm hot-rail at the bridge for lead sounds that cut through the mix. The bridge pickup has a coil tap so you can also get the chiming tone of a Strat. The neck pickup is 8.2 K Ohm and has the fullness and depth of a hot-rodded PAF.

Playing time between charges is around 4 to 6 hours at moderate to full volume and 8 hours plus at low volume. The Fusion also charges your iPhone when it is docked and the guitar is switched on.

Unfortunately due to the diversity of device shapes, variety of connectors, plus audio signal latency issues (signal delay) in Android devices, the Fusion Guitar does not currently support Android devices. We  hope to support some Android devices in the future.

We suggest purchasing a pre-owned iPhone 6 or 6 Plus. These are available on EBay for around $100. The 6 Plus has a big screen which is great for adjusting app controls.

Sorry no, the current model is only available in right hand at this stage. But stay tuned, we hope to produce a left handed version in the future.
